
When it comes to educating yourself on your pregnancy and birth for your child, it can truly make your experience a night and day experience. Reading books about pregnancy and birth have many benefits; such as helping you with preparation, relaxation, and even when it comes to bonding with your baby. When you take time to become educated and prepared, you are able to bond with your baby in an unexpected way.
You may be asking where on earth do I start?! There are so many books out there! You are right, there are so many, which is amazing! You can choose and not be stuck to one resource. When it comes to choosing, start with what you want for your pregnancy and birth. Do you want it unmedicated or medicated? Completely natural? At home, a birth center, or at a hospital? Whatever your goal or desires are, seek out those books that help you reach your goal. If you are still not sure, pick a book from each perspective, then as you will read you will start to learn what you want out of your birth.
